Deforestation - no change in observation cycle

If no new deforestation is detected in an observation cycle:

  • Both GeoPackages (incremental and accumulated) are still delivered
  • The observed area layer is present in both files
  • The incremental deforestation layer is empty (no features)
  • The accumulated deforestation layer may be unchanged from the prior delivery
  • Changelook rasters are still delivered for the observed stacks

An empty incremental layer alongside a populated observed area explicitly communicates that the area was monitored and no change was found — not that monitoring did not occur.
