Deforestation file delivery API
Parameters: Date
Filter results by publication time window. Both published_after and published_before are optional and accept ISO 8601 timestamps without fractional seconds.

Parameters: Area of Interest
Filter results to deliverables intersecting a specified AOI. Provide a GeoJSON Polygon or MultiPolygon in the request body. Omitting this parameter returns results globally.

Parameters: Peril
Filter results to specific peril types or individual deliverable types. Available options for the Deforestation Solution are listed below.
| Peril type | Available deliverable types | File type |
|---|---|---|
| "deforestation" | "deforestation_incremental_vectors" | "geopackage" |
| "deforestation_accumulated_vectors" | "geopackage" | |
| "deforestation_changelook" | "geotiff" |
Example workflow — automated polling
By periodically querying the endpoint for deliverables published since the last query, you can automate ingestion of new data as each observation cycle is delivered.
- Configure your request payload with the peril type and deliverable types of interest (e.g. incremental vectors, accumulated vectors, changelooks).
- Call find-deliverables with a
published_aftertimestamp set to your last known delivery time. - Loop through the
download_linkvalues returned for each deliverable and save the files. - Record the
latest_published_timefrom the response. - Pause for your desired polling interval.
- Re-query using the saved
latest_published_timeas the newpublished_aftervalue. - Repeat steps 3–7.
If you would like to filter by area of interest, include the aoi clause in your request body alongside the selected_perilsparameter.
Example response
Below is a representative response from the find-deliverables endpoint for a single weekly deforestation observation cycle, showing all three deliverable types.
