Geographic Coverage

Geographically, ICEYE endeavors to predict location and timing of flooding globally (between
-60 and 60 degrees latitude). This is a constraint on historical data used to benchmark flood
conditions. ICEYE is actively working to remove this limitation.

Temporal Coverage

For each model run day, ICEYE provides predictions for four 24h forecast periods, up to 96 hours into the future. In terms of update frequency, ICEYE is able to provide the Alpha product updated twice daily to reflect the most recent flood forecast conditions at 8:00 and 14:00 UTC, seven days a week.

Product Delivery and Access via ArcGIS Online

ICEYE Insights for ArcGIS is the ICEYE Flood Early Warning Product deployed as an ArcGIS Experience application to enable customer interaction with the Flood Early Warning Product. The application provides the most up- to-date flood forecast layers and defined flood  prediction categories. Also included as a layer are flood alert points. These points represent areas of high anticipated impact of flooding, based on the prediction data. The data are updated on a twice daily basis. A time stamp is provided for reference.

Access to the ICEYE Flood Early Warning deployed in the ArcGIS Experience is provided with the dependency that the user has a valid Esri ArcGIS online account. If the customer does not have a valid Esri ArcGIS Online account, ICEYE is able to provide Esri Partner Credentials, allowing the customer to access a customer specific Flood Early Warning ArcGIS Experience application.
