(WF) Fire Delivery API
Wildfire / Bushfire is available through File Delivery API fto support programmatic, automated retrieval of deliverables. The API enables customers to discover newly published deliverables, filter them, and download them securely.

Scope
The Delivery API provides access to the same Wildfire Insights deliverables customers receive today (Building Damage Assessment and Fire Perimeter), delivered via a new API interface. Deliverables are queried via find-deliverables and returned with metadata and download links. For API delivery, GeoPackage (.gpkg) is the supported vector format.
Purpose
The Delivery API is intended to:
- Eliminate manual file delivery and reduce polling-based workflows
- Enable automated ingestion of new releases as soon as they are published
- Provide consistent, versioned deliverables with structured metadata
- Find newly published deliverables
- Filter to only relevant events/areas/releases
- Download deliverables securely
What the API Provides

Metadata Delivered via the API

Key change: Metadata is delivered directly in the API response as JSON (no separate metadata file).
